Overview

Aim 1 goals of the project have largely been fulfilled. To date we have conducted three focus groups with the O2VERLAP (i.e. diagnoses of both COPD and OSA) patient population to discuss adherence barriers and facilitators in using both their prescribed oxygen and positive airway pressure device.
After analysis of the information collected, it was clear that the major adherence barriers discussed were related to use of PAP devices. In addition, our stakeholder advisory board has met many times and proposed some modifications to the protocol.
